East St. Louis Students Research and Highlight City through SIUE Digital Project

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville researchers are engaging East St. Louis middle school students in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math)-related research and activities through an $846,000 grant from the National Science Foundation.
Sixth through ninth grade students are conducting research and creating a website that highlights the city with materials such as digital walking tours and photographs of local landmarks.
